SUBARU BRZ GT300 2021 Free Paper Model

Since the first generation, Subaru BRZ has always filled the line-up of racing cars in the Super GT. And with the second generation being introduced last year, the question arises about how will the second generation BRZ look like with the body kit typical of Super GT racing cars. And in the video that Subaru uploads this weekend, they feature the Subaru BRZ racecar that will make its debut in the 2021 season of Super GT.

Just like the previous generation, the Subaru BRZ racing car will compete in the Super GT 2021 season by adopting the GT300 regulations. And like GT racing cars, the appearance of the racing version is made lower than the original.

The Subaru BRZ GT300 will have a very large rear spoiler

In addition, the fenders are also made wider, with a large front splitter at the front, various air grilles, a large diffuser on the rear bumper, to a large rear spoiler which is standard in all GT300 cars.

The aero components are combined with the second-generation Subaru BRZ styling, such as the taller headlamps, ducktail at the rear of the car, and tail lights with a C pattern that is finished in black. Later, this car will come face to face with GT3 specification cars such as the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3, which is the defending champion in the GT300 class.

Performance of the Subaru BRZ 2021 at a glance

Speaking of specifications, Subaru is still closing the meeting on the specifications of the Subaru BRZ GT300 racing car. However, it doesn't feel that different from the previous model with restrictive regulations. For the record, the previous model used a flat-4 Boxet engine coded FA20 tuned by Subaru Technica International (STI) with 300 HP and 406 NM of torque.

Likely, the performance presented will also not be much different from the latest model, which uses a 2.4L FA24 flat-4 engine. For the production version, this engine produces 228 HP power and a maximum torque of 250 Nm.

Later, this car will make its debut in the opening series Super GT 2021 which will be held in Okayama, April 10-11, 2021. The plan is that the Japanese touring championship will also hold two races in the ASEAN region, namely Thailand (Buriram) and Malaysia (Sepang). ). However, the persistent pandemic conditions mean that the organizers have yet to set a race date in both places.
