The stunning and innovative visuals of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba series quickly made Tanjiro a major character on the anime scene, along with his Demon Slayer friends and even some of his enemies. The Kimetsu No Yaiba comic series just finished last May, so as not to forget, what are the facts about Tanjiro in the Kimetsu No Yaiba anime?
1. His hard forehead is amazing
If there's one trait that makes Tanjiro extraordinarily unique, it's his extremely hard forehead. The interesting part is that Tanjiro's stubbornness in his personality is just as prominent as his physique.
2. He channeled his anger in the right way
Despite suffering the loss of his family and becoming a well-trained and established demon slayer, Tanjiro may be a noble-hearted character. His steadfast kindness is also a powerful fuel for his rage, which serves as the key to his strength as a swordsman.
No matter how terrifying the strength of his foe, Tanjiro persists and reminds the demons to remember and realize their human side. Many of his bloodthirsty opponents were able to find peace after meeting Tanjiro, resolving unresolved heartaches when he was a human before being crushed to dust.
3. His sense of smell is also no less extraordinary with stubbornness
Not many people can hide something from Tanjiro's nose, as he can recognize a person's emotional state by their smell - even if they are demons. All can be detected by Tanjiro through his nose.
4. Tanjiro is a very honest person, never hides anything
While he's not very honest with everyone he meets about carrying demons on his back (read: his little brother), Tanjiro is very transparent and quite honest. In his fight against Kyogai, the Drum Demon, Tanjiro lets his opponent know he is about to attack. The warning might not be a survival move, but Tanjiro's respect for killing the Drum Demon.
5. Tanjiro is a very good person in adapting to new environments
What's the point of learning without applying the knowledge you have to real life? Another trait of Tanjiro is his ability to evaluate situations and think calmly, allowing him to win his battles.

6. Every parent's dream eldest child
Being the eldest of 6 children - and in a family with a deceased father - means Tanjiro has a lot of work and responsibilities to take on. Domestic circumstances make Tanjiro the man of the house, allowing him to have mature perspective, insight, and other life skills and be able to deal with the progressive wild tendencies of Inosuke, the cowardly Zenitsu, and others he meets.
7. Kamado family tradition
The Kamado family proves to be a strong family despite the unfortunate events that befell them. As such, Tanjiro's fighting style, Hanafune's earrings, clothing patterns, and even the scar on his forehead are traits shared between Tanjiro and his ancestors.
Tanjiro's scar changes when he becomes a Demon Slayer, but the wound originally came from a burn he received as a result of saving one of his siblings from dropping a lamp and burning himself in the forehead. Tanjiro's father also has a scar in the same place, which makes Tanjiro always remember his father.
