This time we will discuss Chongyun, the newest character introduced in the Final Closed Beta Test (for those who ask for Sucrose, he is still being developed by the developer team, so there isn't one yet). Chongyun is the second character after Kaeya to have Cryo Vision. A young exorcist, he travels from place to place to exorcise evil spirits that interfere with human life. I don't know how many hundreds of evil spirits he managed to drive away. However, in contrast to the majority of people who want to make as much profit as possible, Chongyun still has a firm stand; he never wanted to be paid more and only asked for a few hundred pieces of Mora, according to the initial price offered; although he should have known, that a few hundred Moras was only enough to buy one serving of food.

With Liyue as his base of operations, a young exorcist roaming all over, he eradicates evil spirits wherever he goes. As the heir to the exorcist clan, he had extraordinary abilities from childhood. However, this ability is not the result of training but is an inborn trait called "Congenital Positivity".

What is Congenital Positivity? From that conclusion, Chongyun had a “Positive” power that he was born with. This positive power is able to ward off all forms of evil spirits. Simply by being in a place where the evil spirits gather, the evil spirits will simply disappear. It's hard to believe, but this power is greatly admired by everyone it has ever helped. But there was one thing that saddened Chongyun with his strength: Even though he had managed to ward off evil spirits hundreds of times, Chongyun had never seen any of them.

Chongyun believes that the true exorcist should ward off evil spirits with amulets and swordsmanship, not with his extreme… strange powers. Therefore, now Chongyun dedicates himself to learning exorcism techniques and martial arts, as well as by always hunting evil spirits wherever they are. All this he did in order to become the best exorcist without having to use his Congenital Positivity power.

Playstyle

Chongyun wields a Claymore weapon (big sword), despite his small body. Even the size of his Claymore was almost equal to his height. Somehow he was able to wield this enormous sword.

Just like Claymore users in general, the Basic Attack is in the form of Physical Damage. He will continue to spin and attack enemies in his rotation area when using Charged Attack (max 5 seconds), until your stamina runs out, or you cancel.

Elemental Skills

To cover up his boring-looking Basic Attack, Chongyun had a very interesting Elemental Skill. He will hit the ground and create an area with his Cryo Vision power. When in this area, all characters that use Sword, Claymore, or Spear, all of their Basic Attacks change to Cryo.

You need to remember about Elemental Reaction in Genshin. Cryo is one of the forgotten elements because the only one who could use Cryo was Kaeya (and she was very "less" compared to other characters). But since there was Chongyun, now Cryo is back alive. With Electro, the enemy will be hit by Superconductor and its DEF will decrease drastically. With Hydro, the enemy will be affected by the Frozen effect and cannot move for some time. With Pyro, the enemy will be hit by Melt and receive great damage.

Since characters with Electro Vision are very popular nowadays, especially Lisa and Fischl, when combined with Chongyun's skill, your game will be very easy with Superconduct's spam reaction, because the enemy's DEF will always decrease when hit by this Elemental Reaction.

Elemental Burst

Chongyun summoned 3 swords from the ice and hit an area. The damage generated is quite large, and is very suitable when the enemy is gathered in one place.
