Albedo is a good surprise for Geo element lovers in Genshin Impact. In addition to Albedo and the new area in Dragonspine, players will soon be able to collect Ganyu, a very unique Adepti descendant.

What are Ganyu's abilities like? Is this five-star character suitable for you or do you want to collect it because of its beautiful appearance? Before deciding to pull Ganyu in the next pull, first consider the following character facts, let's go!

1. Adeptus' Descendants Make Her Unique

Ganyu is a descendant of Adeptus or Qilin which ends up making her physical appearance slightly different from humans. The dark, red horns behind her blue hair are the last remaining physical features of this special breed. It is not yet clear who Adeptus might be the parent figure of Ganyu.

Unlike the Archons, the Adepts were the freer Ancient Gods. In Liyue, they live in high mountains and some can take the form of animals or even humans. With this special blood, of course Ganyu becomes a very strong character in terms of lore.

2. Has the Meaning of the Name "Sweet Rain"

Translated from Chinese, Ganyu can mean "sweet rain" or "blessing rain". Apparently, this name reflects her Elemental Burst ability, Celestial Shower which allows her to make a very large hailstone rain.

With this ability, Ganyu can rain down on enemies with enormous damage. Therefore, this character is perfect for you to bring to defeat the domains and waves of enemies in the Spiral Abyss.

3. Use of Cryo Elements and Arrow Weapons

Ganyu's Vision is a Cryo element which is reflected in his crystal blue hair color. As a Cryo user, Ganyu has Elemental Skills to taunt while her Burst is an AOE-type hailstorm with a long duration. The character mechanics are a bit similar to Amber.

From this ability, Ganyu feels it will be very useful as a DPS Support on your team. You can combine it with Chongyun or Kaeya and Diona to take the Cryo elemental resonance which is very painful.

4. Have Very High ATK Status

As an arrow user, Ganyu's ATK is above average. In fact, this character will have the highest ATK defeating Fischl, who was previously an arrow-type DPS. It is certain that Ganyu will give nightmares to the rows of monsters you face.

So the character with the highest ATK, Ganyu, is a good target if you already have enough Primogems saved. Moreover, arrow weapons can make it a long-range DPS and make you survive in many Domains easily.

5. Serve as Secretary of Qixing

In Liyue, there is no king or governor. Instead, their government is run by the Qixing Senate, which is the seven most influential parties. So far, only Ningguang and Keqing characters have been told to be part of it. It is not yet clear who the other characters belong to this organization.
