Here are some fun facts about Avengers: Infinity War that you should know before you set foot in the cinema! For those who haven't watched it, hurry up, you won't regret it!

1. The Nineteenth Movie of the MCU

Avengers: Infinity War is the nineteenth film in the MCU and the third Avengers film. Entered into phase 3 of the MCU which has been started since 2008. Previously there were Iron Man (2008), The Incredible Hulk (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010) Thor (2011), Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), and The Avengers (2012) is included in phase 1, then in phase 2 there is Iron Man 3 (2013), Thor: The Dark World (2013), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Avengers : Age of Ultron (2015) and Ant-Man (2015) while in phase 3 there are Captain America: Civil War (2016), Doctor Strange (2016), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), and Black Panther (2018).

For Phase 3 itself, there will still be 3 films after Avengers: Infinity War, namely Ant-Man And The Wasp (2018), Captain Marvel (2019) and the culmination of phase 3 is Untitled Avengers (2019) which is a sequel to Infinity War.

2. Featuring 64 Characters from the eighteen MCU films

This is one of the attractions of Avengers: Infinity War. How not, this film presents up to 64 characters, one of which may be our favorite! So basically in this film, you will see your favorite superhero team-up with other superheroes to defeat Thanos. Finally the dream has come true to see Marvel superheroes on one stage in the live action version!

3. Record the most watched movie trailer in a day!

The Infinity War inaugural trailer, which aired on November 29, 2017, broke the record as the most viewed trailer in a day, which was 23 million views! It was followed by It (2017) with 19.7 million views and the second trailer of Infinity War even came in third with a total of 17.9 million views, far behind The Fate of the Furious (2016) which got 13.9 million views. It's no wonder, because this film has been eagerly awaited by superhero fans around the world. The trailer alone is already making a scene, let alone the film!

4. Marvel's most expensive movie so far

Avengers: Infinity War holds the record as Marvel's most expensive film with a total production of $300 million and is ranked second as the film with the largest production budget after Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) with a total production of $378.5 million. But it turns out that Infinity War is not alone in second place! After Infinity War, Justice League (2017) and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007) were also listed.

Previously, Marvel's most expensive film record was held by Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) with a total production of $279.9 million. Hopefully Avengers 4 will be able to present a better viewing experience considering that it is the culmination of the MCU phase 1 to phase 3.

5. Marvel's longest-running film

I can't imagine if Infinity War was only packaged in 120 minutes or less, considering the number of characters displayed and the plot of the story which is quite complex. Therefore, Marvel decided to set the Infinity War running time to 156 minutes or about 2 hours 36 minutes.

The record for the longest Marvel film was previously held by Captain America: Civil War (2016) with a running time of 147 minutes or about 2 hours 27 minutes. Even though it's 9 minutes longer, it's enough to satisfy die-hard Marvel fans. Although it is undeniable that many fans hope that the duration of this film can be even longer. Hopefully it can be achieved later in Avengers 4!

6. The spoiler: Tom Holland

What happens if you play a film but you are not given the opportunity to read the script of the film in its entirety? Yes, that's what happened to Tom Holland. Peter Parker aka Spider-Man is really not good at keeping secrets, guys. He was banned because he was deemed to have divulged too many important plots in the film Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017). In an interview with the Toronto Sun, Tom admitted that he knows very little about Infinity War.

7. The duet of Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr.

There is no denying that they are both the main icons of the MCU. A true leader, namely Steve Rogers aka Captain America and a billionaire genius Tony Stark aka Iron Man is indeed a highlight in every MCU film. They are both characters who appear most often in the MCU films. Even Chris Evans aka Steve Rogers is always in the MCU movies every year, starting from Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), The Avengers (2012), Thor: The Dark World (2013), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) , Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) to Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

No wonder they were rumored to be dead in Infinity War or Avengers 4, making fans heartbroken, because Chris and RDJ both can play their characters very well and it feels strange to see Captain America and Iron Man being played by other actors.
