Haikyuu season 4 was released last week. Those of you who are hype about this anime might want to get to know more about the various characters. This time the author wants to discuss some facts about Kageyama Tobio in Haikyuu, a figure who can bring out all of Hinata Shoyo's potential. Just take a look at the discussion below!

1. Animals hate

So far, we have seen that Kageyama only acts fiercely towards Hinata or Tsukishima, but in fact, he always respects other people. Kageyama also looks polite when talking to Karasuno's manager, Hitoka Yachi who is the same age as him.

Unfortunately because of the look on Kageyama's face that looks like a grumpy person, some people are a bit hesitant to approach him, including the animals. Kageyama himself often felt that many animals were away from him. Most likely this was because of Kageyama's face which looked sinister to them.

2. The King's Call in the Field

The nickname 'King on the Field' from Kageyama was given by his teammate at Kitagawa Daichi Middle School. This is because of his known selfish and dictatorial nature. Kageyama's abilities were only on a much higher level than his teammate at Kitagawa Daichi.

Not a single player on the team was able to bring out Kageyama's highest potential as a setter. Kageyama needs a spiker genius or above-average ability to be able to do it.

3. Poor in English lessons

Ahead of the exam, Kageyama admitted that he was bad at remembering English vocabulary. But when asked to remember about tactical signals in English by Sawamura, he was able to answer them quickly.

Kageyama could even remember all of that in less than a day. This shows that Kageyama has a good memory, but it doesn't work well if he remembers things other than volleyball.

4. Kageyama's genius

There is a reason why Kageyama is called a genius. In Kitagawa Daichi Middle School, Oikawa never liked Kageyama because his abilities were better than him. However, Kageyama kept asking Oikawa to teach him to serve the ball.

Even though Oikawa continued to refuse his request, Kageyama managed to learn Oikawa's knowledge just by looking at him. That's why he is called a genius.

5. Ever Wanted To Join Shiratorizawa

Before coming to Karasuno, Kageyama had taken the entrance test at Shiratorizawa, but he failed. After that Kageyama decided to choose Karasuno just because he wanted to be coached by coach Ukai. Unfortunately, coach Ukai stopped coaching shortly before Kageyama joined.
