Presenting a reboot series like Digimon Adventure is not an easy job. Although the reboot of this legendary title has received mixed responses from fans, one thing that probably all fans will agree with is how their favorite characters now appear in an epic animation.
Wargreymon is one of them. In episode 30, “The Mega Digimon, WarGreymon” the fans were surprised by the return of one of the legendary Digimon namely WarGreymon to this series after several hints were tried to appear in previous episodes. Interestingly, the return of WarGreymon is not only in terms of image/animation quality but also in size. WarGreymon is shown to be much bigger than before.
The fans are aware of the difference in the size of the WarGreymon's body. In the 1999 Digimon Adventure series, WarGreymon is depicted as a monster who is about 2.5-3.5 meters tall, tall enough to lift Taichi and carry him on his back. However, in this version of Digimon Adventure 2020 the size of WarGreymon is much larger than the size of a house.
WHAT ABOUT A THEORY?
MAYBE THE ADVENTURE (1999) ONE IS SMALLER THAN THE PSI ONE BECAUSE IT WARP-DIGOVOLVED FROM THE ROOKIE-LEVEL.
IN PSI, IT DIGIVOLVED FROM THE ULTIMATE LEVEL DIRECTLY TO THE MEGA LEVEL. SO THAT IS WHY IT'S BIGGER THAN THE ADVENTURE ONE.

Although consistency is sometimes considered a problem – in any case – the growth in body size of this WarGreymon makes Digimon fans curious, why then the size of the monster's body changes. Although there may be an answer to this question later in the story, some fans on Twitter seem to have a theory regarding this.
According to a fan with the account name Guilboma, most of the Digimon will indeed change in size when they evolve (Digivolving), of course with some exceptions. This is supported by the Mega Level Digivolution in the original series, thanks to the increased strength of Angemon and Angewoman.
FOR EXAMPLE, THERE IS A FUNNY BIT IN CYBERSLUETH WHERE YOU GET OMNIMON COMPRESSING ITS SIZE JUST ENOUGH TO FIT INTO A CAFE.

Even so, this theory still cannot explain why the previous WarGreymon was so small that he needed both hands to hold Taichi, while his new enormous size WarGreymon could store Taichi in the palm of his hand. Then there is also another theory that states that the change in body size is due to the "data" that Digimon has very much.
This theory makes sense because maybe Agumon, during this time, has experienced many different things in his life. The theory of "data" affecting size might be able to answer why WarGreymon in 1999 was so small because he didn't have a lot of data yet. And lastly, there is also a theory that states that the size of WarGreymon's body has something to do with Taichi's level of courage.
In essence, Taichi in 1999 regretted his actions and learned about the dangers if he was careless after Taichi turned Agumon into SkullGreymon. But, in this 2020 version, Taichi looks different. He does not care about himself, a trait that is often shown in the figure of a "hero" or main character.
WarGreymon isn't the only Digimon that's had a similar “problem”. In the movie Digimon: The Movie, Agumon is also considered to have a larger body size than usual. Regardless of which theory is correct – or maybe geeks have their theory – what is shown in this Digimon Adventure Reboot 2020 gives a new picture of the figure of WarGreymon.
