Kagaya Ubuyashiki Papercraft Yoys Kimetsu No Yaiba (Demon Slayer)
Kagaya Ubuyashiki is an important figure in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He's the leader of Hashira and the Demon Extermination Corps. He is never seen fighting but always appears as a weak man who must be supported when walking. His eyesight wasn't good either.
Even so, Kagaya is a highly respected person in the corps. Every word that came out of his mouth was an order that even the most arrogant Hashira had to follow. He is also very wise in every decision.
Kagaya has an important role in the war between the Demon Slayer and the demons fostered by Demon King Muzan Kibutsuji. He continued the ideals of his ancestors to get rid of Muzan and make the world peaceful. So who is Kagaya Ubuyashiki? Here's the review!

1. Physical appearance
Kagaya has fair skin and shoulder-length hair. He is said to be famous for slaying demons and successfully obtaining his Demon Slayer mark. His appearance was instantly recognizable by the curse mark on his head which slowly killed him.
Because of this illness, he can't see anything. His forehead skin is reduced. However, he still smiled. She always wears a kimono over a white Haori with a pink and purple pattern.
2. The Exterminator Corps Boss
Kagaya is the most respected and important person in the Extermination Corps. Right now, he was the leader, the 97th to be exact. The Demon Slayer and his subordinates respected him greatly and referred to him as Oyakata-Sama.
Kagaya is also the leader of the Ubuyashiki family. Although now physically weak, he was once known to be very strong and was feared and respected by people. The Demon Slayer Mark and his deteriorating health made him weak.
3. The Ubuyashiki Family
Kagaya became the leader of the Demon Extermination Corps when he was 4 years old. His family fights demons like Muzan, who turns out to be a member of the Ubuyashiki family too.
To atone for Muzan's evil behavior, the Ubuyashiki family dedicated themselves to fighting Muzan. However, this makes every member of the Ubuyashiki family get a curse mark. They can only live to the age of 30 years.
Kagaya met his wife, Amane, when he was 13 and the woman was 17. The priestess chose Amane as Kagaya's wife. But, Kagaya said, if Amane wanted to, he could leave because his life would be troublesome because he took care of people with disabilities.

4. Relation to Muzan
Muzan Kibutsuji is probably the strongest demon out there. However, he has a relationship with Kagaya, the one who is determined to destroy him. People don't know that Muzan and Kagaya are from the Ubuyashiki family.
Muzan finally meets Kagaya and makes fun of him because Kagaya can't see anything. Kagaya asks his wife to describe Muzan. Muzan said, Kagaya was almost dead.
He laughs at Kagaya and calls him smelling like a corpse. Muzan wants to be indestructible but is also afraid that he will eventually die at the hands of humans, which is true.
5. Curse disease
Kagaya always looks weak and can't walk properly. He suffers from a hereditary disease that starts from the forehead and spreads throughout his body.
The disease made it look like it was burning or slowly rotting away. The disease is only passed down to boys in the Ubuyashiki family.
Because of this disease, he couldn't see anything because his forehead was in a rotten state. The disease slowly spread throughout his body and killed him.
The cursed disease could not be controlled. Despite his serious illness, Kagaya still fights him and leads the Demon Slayer Corps.
6. Caring and very thoughtful
As the leader of the Demon Extermination Corps, he was very calm and cared for the members of the corps. He considered them all as his children. He also has a very good memory.
Although weak and unable to become a fighter, he makes up for it with his sharp mind and tactical knowledge of how to fight demons.
He guides the Demon Slayers on their missions. He was also the one who assigned them to a mission to take and everyone followed his orders.
7. Good with words
While he was in the shadows, he also sought advice from people he knew. One of them was when every Hashira was against Tanjiro and Nezuko. However, Kagaya understands the condition of the brothers after Tanjiro's teacher, Sakonji Urokodaki, sends him a letter.
The way he speaks is also very good and shows his gentle demeanor. His ability to calm everyone down is shown when he takes control of the over-hype Muichiro Tokito and the extremely arrogant Sanemi Shinazugawa with just his words. However, she becomes strict when it comes to her children due to a curse mark in their family.
8. Kagaya's Strength
Even though he can't see and walk well, he can cover it up with a voice that soothes people. His tone was so gentle that even people followed his orders.
The Ubuyashiki family also has fortune-telling skills that help them avoid chaotic situations. They have a technique that allows them to predict anything that will come true.
Kagaya predicts that Muzan cannot be killed simply by beheading. According to Kagaya, he can only be killed by the power of the sun.
9. Death
Kagaya's condition continues to deteriorate as the series progresses. Towards the end of the series and the final battle between the Demon Slayer and the demons, including Muzan, Kagaya realizes that his life is short.
He also let Muzan come. But, of course, he already had a tactic. Muzan comes to his castle. However, Kagaya was ready. He had ordered Tamayo to set a trap when Muzan came.
Sure enough, as soon as Muzan came and the two chatted for a while, Kagaya blew up the place. He, Amane, and their two daughters were killed.
10. Disbandment of the Demon Slayer Corps
Kagaya's death begins a war between Ibis Slayer and Muzan and his men. A fierce battle at Ubuyashiki castle was inevitable. There were casualties on both sides.
However, Muzan was defeated. After all that had happened, Kagaya's son, Kiriya, took over the leadership of the Demon Slayer Corps. Three months after the great war, Kiriya decided to disband the Demon Slayer Corps. He disbanded the organization after its goals were achieved.
