McLaren MCL36 Papercraft (F1) 2022 Edition

McLaren has unveiled the new MCL36. The McLaren MCL36 car that will be used by Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo was presented directly to the public.

Just like the three teams that had already introduced the 2022 F1 car, the MCL36 car comes with a completely new design according to changes in racing regulations this year.

For the livery, the MCL36 car is still like its predecessor, which is dominated by orange color, decorated with blue and black accents.

It's just that the placement of the blue and black colors is different from last year's car.

However, the blue color is now brighter than last year, reminiscent of the livery used in the 2021 Monaco F1 race.

For McLaren, 2022 is an important season.

With the new regulations, there is a huge opportunity for the team that once dominated this season of F1 racing to return to the top.

But there is also a lot of uncertainty, with the new rules, there is an opportunity to go up to the top, but also go down completely in the standings.

Last year both McLaren drivers took the podium five times, one of which was the victory podium produced by Daniel Ricciardo in Italian F1.

Although on the list of constructors' standings, McLaren, which is back using Mercedes engines, is ranked fourth after being overtaken by Ferrari, which has appeared strong in the last few races.

Of course, McLaren wants to return to the top.

Team boss Andreas Seidl and McLaren technical director James Key have made the right move for a clear team plan.

Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris are part of that plan and hope to compete for victory with the new car.

Prior to the launch of the McLaren MCL36, Lando Norris extended his contract until 2025.

Thus, the talented racer is sure to defend the McLaren team up to the new engine regulations.

Last year Lando Norris, who has four podium finishes, is sixth in the drivers' standings, after a tight battle with Ferrari's Carlos Sainz, who moved up to fifth after finishing third in the closing race of F1 Abu Dhabi.

Lando Norris, who finished seventh in F1 Abu Dhabi, shifted Ferrari's Charles Leclerc with a 1 point advantage.

Meanwhile, Daniel Ricciardo, who was the new driver for the McLaren team at the time, was ranked eighth with 115 points, 45 adrift of Norris.
