1. Make It Move Very Fast

Different from other Gear 4 versions, Snakeman is a mode that allows Luffy to move very fast. This is because Luffy does not make his body big while maintaining his right to maintain his body shape.

Snakeman keeps Luffy's body normal to make him move faster. Interestingly, this version does not make it emit steam but rather a gaseous substance. Because his body shape remains proportional and is intended to catch up with speed, Luffy's fists have a different movement.

He modified the shape of his fists to resemble the legs of a leopard which made his attack output more dangerous.

2. The longer you land, the bigger the attack

Another uniqueness of Snakeman is that the longer the attack lands on the opponent, the greater the output. This is because Luffy holds back his attack as long as possible, chasing the opponent until it hits him.

Therefore, the more often the opponent dodges, the greater the attack they will receive. That's why in this mode Charlotte Katakuri who is very good at dodging in the end is also battered.

In addition, through this mode, Luffy can access a power called Python which allows him to change the direction of his attacks.

3. His Defense Is Very Vulnerable

It must be admitted that Gear 4 mode is Luffy's most powerful defense mode. Even though his body is as hard as steel, he still maintains the flexibility of rubber so that he can still bounce off his opponent's attacks. But in Snakeman mode, Luffy's defense becomes more vulnerable.

Apart from chasing speed, this mode makes Luffy lose most of his rubber elasticity. When attacked, he takes an attack like instead of countering this attack when in Boundman and Tankman modes.

No wonder Luffy is very very careful when using this mode because he is aware that his defense is very bad.
