1. There are many versions and each one has a different personality

Majin Buu is quite famous for its ability to suck in its opponents to gain their power. Even Son Gohan was sucked in by Majin Buu.

Interestingly, Majin Buu's personality can change depending on who is sucked in by him.

When he hasn't sucked in anyone yet, this Majin Buu is savage and uncontrollable like a child. After sucking Grand Supreme Kai, Majin Buu became more innocent and easier to control.

Majin Buu also had time to split into the fat version of the good Buu and the skinny version of the evil Buu. In the Dragon Ball Online game, the good version of Buu is also split into a male version and a female version called Miss Buu!

Although there are many, basically all versions can be called Majin Buu!

2. Buu's name as well as Babidi's and Bibidi's names are taken from a magic spell in Cinderella's story

Bibidi is the one who first resurrected Majin Buu in the past, while Babidi is Bibidi's "son" who awakened Majin Buu from his seal in the present.

Interestingly, the names of Bibidi, Babidi, and Buu seem to be inspired by the fairy godmother's magic spell in the Cinderella fairy tale.

In the Cinderella fairy tale, the fairy godmother uses a spell that reads "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo".

3. Fat Buu inspired by Dragon Ball editor

Based on the book Daizenshuu 1, Majin Buu was inspired by one of the editors of Akira Toriyama named Fuyuto Takeda.

Fuyuto Takeda is the editor of Dragon Ball and is credited with giving a big role to Mr. Satan.

The funny thing is, in the book Dragon Ball Forever, Akira Toriyama said that he never used his editor as an inspiration for the enemies in the Dragon Ball manga.

Even so, Akira Toriyama admitted that he might have done it without realizing it.

4. One of the most tangible enemies thanks his ability to absorb opponents

Majin Buu has many changes in form, from fat to very thin.

In the manga version alone, this change in Majin Buu's form is quite difficult to calculate.

There's Kid Buu, fat Buu, skinny Buu, Super Buu, Buu's form after absorbing Southern Supreme Kai, Super Buu's form after sucking Gotenks, Super Buu with Piccolo's clothes, and there's also Super Buu's form after absorbing Son Gohan.

In various other media, many other forms of Buu are introduced, such as Super Buu's form after absorbing Vegeta, after absorbing Babidi, and there's even Buu's form after absorbing Frieza!

5. Kid Buu's version is reborn as a human

At the end of his fight with Kid Buu, Son Goku had hoped that Kid Buu could be reborn as a good person so that Goku could fight with him again.

Goku's wish finally came true and Kid Buu was reborn as a boy named Uub who came from a small island.

Uub in the Dragon Ball GT series finally grows up as one of the strongest fighters, especially after the fat Buu joins him!

6. Uub's fate status after the end of Dragon Ball manga

Apart from Dragon Ball GT and other non-canon media, Uub has so far only appeared at the end of Dragon Ball Z and briefly appeared in Dragon Ball Super.

Since the end of Dragon Ball Z, the story is set after Dragon Ball Super, but the continuation of Uub's journey after training with Son Goku has not been told in canon!

7. Majin Buu has a lot of unique moves that are troublesome

9. Grand Supreme Kai once took control of Buu's body

As told in the Dragon Ball Super manga, Grand Supreme Kai was able to take over Buu's body after his memory was awakened by the Galactic Patrol.

The fat Buu can also transform his body into the same as Grand Supreme Kai when Buu's body was taken over.

Unfortunately, Grand Supreme Kai is no longer as strong as he was in the past because most of his divine power transferred to Kid Buu's body when Majin Buu split apart in the past.
