This Piranha Plant papercraft is an artistic representation of Piranha Plant from Super Mario.

The Piranha Plant papercraft began as a quick sketch using Hanz's personal style and visual references, then he cut out colored paper to match the sketch as closely as possible, and finally he created a vector file in PDF by measuring the real model so that anyone can print it and create the same model in 1:1 scale. Piranha Plants (also spelled Piranha Flowers and Piranhas in early manuals and Pirahna Flower in an Australian Nintendo Magazine System issue) are large, carnivorous plants encountered throughout the Mario franchise. They appear to be based on Venus flytraps and eat anything that comes near them.

A Piranha Plant's head is typically red or green, with a variety of other colors. Piranha Plants were originally found only in pipes, darting out and biting anything in their path. Piranha Plants can currently be found both inside and outside of pipes, and they may constantly bite or wait for Mario to approach to do so.

Piranha Plants, despite being plants, have been depicted as sentient and capable of speech in a few appearances. Piranha Plant characters such as Petey Piranha, Piranha Bean, and Dino Piranha, among others, demonstrate that some Piranha Plants have animal-like bodies and can walk.
