After learning that Gojou could sew, Marin was overjoyed and tried to get her into the world of cosplay right away.

2. She Loves Playing Games like Slippery Girls 2

Marin Kitagawa loves the popular eroge genre game Slippery Girls 2. There's even an anime adapted for the game. The game's protagonist is the grandson of the academy's principal and ends up attending an all-girls school for some reason.

3. She Likes Gyaru Style

Gyaru also known as gals is one of the oldest fashion trends in Japan. This fashion trend includes unique things such as tanning or tanning, wearing shiny makeup, having hair dyed blonde or other flashy colors, nails heavily decorated with nail art, and wearing clothes that are not oriental in style. All of these things are fundamentally against traditional Japanese beauty standards.

Marin Kitagawa wore her high school uniform shirt tied at the waist with rolled-up sleeves, an above-the-knee pleated skirt, and a tie. She also wears a choker, necklace, and wrist chain.

The nails are very long and pink. She also wears a lot of earrings in both ears. Marin is also often wearing light pink lipstick and thick mascara to lengthen her eyelashes.

Instead of mocking Gojou for loving the doll-making process like her childhood friend, Marin encouraged her to be more confident and open about what Gojou loves. Marin is a supportive friend that everyone wants because of her open-minded spirit too.

5. She is a Popular Extrovert

Gojou said, “Marin is a charming person who has many friends… she is always the center of it.” And it was true, Marin Kitagawa was undoubtedly very popular at her school. Marin is completely accepted for who she is and doesn't feel shy about her hobby in the slightest.

6. Marin is obsessed with Shizuku-tan

Shizuku-tan is one of the characters from the game Slippery Girls 2. Marin Kitagawa stated that she is very cute. At first, Shizuku-tan didn't smile and was like an ice queen. But after Marin got more in-game events, Shizuku-tan showed another expression and this is what made Marin fall in love with her.

Shizuku-tan was the first cosplay project that Marin wanted to make. The rooms are also heavily decorated with the Shizuku-tan franchise, including Shizuku-tan's dakimakura and various wall posters and character figures from Saint Slippery's Academy for Girls.
