The Spy x Family series continues to deliver very interesting stories to follow. Then, episode 13 which became the beginning of the second season of the Spy x Family anime some time ago introduced a new character that was in the spotlight. The character is a white dog named Bond!

1. Bond's physical and appearance data
The readers of the Spy x Family manga, of course, already know this dog character quite well. Bond is described as a large dog. Its fur is white with black claws. However, when he is drenched, Bond's body size will look smaller.
Anya says that her black claws are like the gloves and shoes worn by Bondman, the main character in Anya's favorite spy anime.
2. Bond's past
Before finally being released as he is now, Bond was the subject of a secret experiment carried out by the Ostania Government. The experiment was aimed at creating artificial intelligence in animals so that they would later be useful for military purposes.
Bond himself is one of the results of an experiment previously known as 'Subject Number 8'. Meanwhile, the name of the project conducting the research is known as 'Project Apple'.
3. Bond's Personality
When first clearly introduced, Bond does look different from other dogs of the same fate. Bond shows more concern for humans. This is shown when he swiftly escapes from terrorists to save a small child who was almost crushed by a plank.
Not only that, Bond's kindness as a dog is also shown when he unhesitatingly confronts terrorists who try to kill Anya, even though Bond himself was very afraid after being threatened.

5. Bond is the name Anya gave after joining the Forger family
In keeping with Bond's dark past, 'Subject Number 8' definitely doesn't sound like a name. However, after officially becoming a pet of the Forger family, Anya immediately thought of a suitable name for Bond.
Anya was inspired by the name of her favorite spy anime character, Bondman, who is a spy. Anya only thought of naming her dog like that after Bond did a heroic act by snatching Anya's glove which was taken by another dog.
6. 'Peanuts' is the first choice before 'Bond'
Did you know that peanuts are Anya Forger's favorite food? Well, Bond will initially be given the name 'Peanuts' in English, namely 'Peanuts'. However, considering that there is a character from the Peanuts cartoon who is also a white dog, namely Snoopy, another name was chosen.
7. Almost became a tool of a terrorist group
Bond's dark period which was used as the object of extreme research did not stop there. After Project Apple was destroyed, instead of being exterminated, all the rest of the research animals were sold on the black market.
