1. Meguru Bachira's personal data

Meguru Bachira first appears in the second chapter of the Blue Lock manga, whereas in the anime, Meguru immediately appears from the first episode. Meguru is a 17-year-old high school student who was born on August 8.

This 176 cm tall character used to play for the Namikaze High School soccer team, before finally deciding to become the world's top striker through the Blue Lock project.


2. Meguru's Personality

Meguru Bachira is described as a cheerful person but a bit lazy. He doesn't even hesitate to fall asleep wherever he is when other people are gathering to discuss something.

Meguru is a person who easily gets along with anyone without being picky. However, her cheerful figure sometimes even looks ridiculous, especially with the strange smile that Meguru often shows.

Football is the only thing that will automatically awaken the passionate side of a Meguru.


3. Skill and position to play soccer

Meguru is one of the characters with extraordinary dribbling skills. He can easily break through his opponent's defenses. It is noted that only a few were able to block Meguru when he was dribbling.

During the Blue Lock program, Meguru continued to improve his dribbling game. He also unhesitatingly exploits selfishness in his dribbles by reluctantly passing the ball to teammates.

Not only strong at dribbling, but Meguru is also skilled as a feeder. As an attacker, Meguru Bachira's abilities are truly reliable. He was even able to face the defenders of the Japanese U-20 national team and Oliver Aiku.


4. Got trauma in childhood

In addition to becoming the world's top soccer player, the Blue Lock program that Meguru participates in also becomes a platform for him to fight trauma from his past. Meguru's character which seems a bit eccentric turns out to be one of the problems.

Meguru is often intimidated because of this. As a result, Meguru has an extreme fear that he will be alone. However, this trauma slowly recovered after Meguru joined the Blue Lock project and got many friends who accepted him.


5. Feeling that there is a 'monster' in him

Trauma in the past of a Meguru then impacts the tendency to create an existence that can only be seen by him. As Meguru admits to Yoichi Isagi, there is a 'monster' inside him.

According to Meguru, the monster is a figure that has helped him to rise from adversity. The existence of a monster within Meguru managed to lead him to continue playing and honing his soccer skills.

However, this monster can be considered a product of the imagination that Meguru created as a form of self-defense against his trauma. Even so, Meguru confidently says that his new friend, Yoichi Isagi, also has a 'monster' in him.


6. Rank in Blue Lock

At the beginning of joining, Meguru Bachira was one of the characters who was ranked at the bottom, namely 290. However, Meguru proved his determination by continuing to stay in Blue Lock until he succeeded in placing 2nd.

Over time and with the reduction in Blue Lock participants due to elimination, Meguru was recorded as having ranked 265th, then dropped to 268th and 270th. After that, he managed to rise again by placing 16th, and 7th, and his highest rank was 2nd.


7. Joined several teams

Meguru Bachira was noted to have been on various teams during his process in the Blue Lock program. Meguru initially joined as a member of Team Z, then White Team, Red Team, Blue Lock Team or 1st Clear Team, Teams A and C, Blue Lock Eleven, and FC Barcha as beginners.


8. Jersey number

Meguru Bachira wears three different jersey numbers. The jersey number 8 is the main number he used when he joined the Namikaze High School football team and Team Z.

Furthermore, Meguru used jersey number 16 while on the White Team and the Red Team, to be precise in the second selection. Then, in the third selection stage, namely in Teams A and C, he wore jersey number 7.


9. Voice actor

Kaito Tasuku is the figure behind the voice of the character Meguru Bachira. Kaito Tasuku is a Japanese voice actor born September 21 who is listed as the voice actor for the character Kohaku Oukawa in the anime film Ensemble Stars!!: Road to Show!! where he serves as the singer for the film's theme song.
