Hyoma Chigiri, who currently plays as a leftwing for England's Manshine City in the Neo Egoist League, is a Blue Lock contender.
Chigiri is a forward prodigy who was previously hampered by a leg injury, but he overcame his fears while at Blue Lock to continue playing football fully. Chigiri was a member of Team Z when he first arrived at Blue Lock. Chigiri spent half of the First Selection avoiding or limiting his participation, but after being inspired by Isagi in Team Z's third game, he decided to overcome his fear and play football in order to become the world's best striker like his rivals.
