One of the characters that attract the interest of Chainsaw Man fans is Himeno. She is a senior member in charge of Special Division 4. She made her appearance debut in episode 4 of the anime.
What are some interesting facts?
1. One of the seniors in the Public Security Institute
Himeno is known to be one of the seniors in the Public Security agency. She is often assigned to train and supervise new members.
Because of that, Himeno is often called a senior by her colleagues including Aki who became the leader in the mission to save Denji and Power after the fall of Bat Devil.
She is very kind-hearted and often reminds Aki to soften up a bit with Denji and Power.
2. Often loses his juniors
Behind her friendly nature to the juniors, it seems that Himeno harbors a dark past.
She often loses several of her juniors every time they carry out missions to exterminate demons so Kishibe has to bring recruits to be guided by Himeno. Not only that, the family and those closest to Himeno junior hate her.
No wonder Himeno was traumatized when she saw Aki injured by Kobeni's stab.
3. Known to have a habit of kissing her colleagues when drunk
When it comes to motivating, you could say Himeno is the master.
When facing the Eternity Devil, she offered a kiss to the person who managed to kill the demon. As a result, Denji was eager to find the monster he was looking for.

Himeno is also a person with a short life in the world of Chainsaw Man.
When faced with Katana Man and Akane Sawatari, Himeno sacrificed her entire body to fully summon Ghost Devil. As a result, she also lost her life after vanishing from view.
Even so, Himeno's sacrifice was quite meaningful because it managed to make Denji rise again to fight Katana Man.
