Tesla Model 3 is a sedan type car with electric power. The Tesla Model 3 offers fast acceleration and a forward-looking minimalist interior. A variety of battery configurations are available, and all versions are rated for over 200 miles on a single charge.

This four-door fastback-style sedan was developed by Tesla and produced from mid-2017 ago. The official launch and delivery of the first 30 cars took place on July 28 of the same year. Furthermore, the Tesla Model 3 car is increasingly popular as Tesla's best-selling car.

As of 2019, the Nissan Leaf was the best-selling road-legal plug-in electric car of all time in the world with global sales of 450,000 units as of December 2019. The Tesla Model 3 surpassed the Leaf in early 2020 as the world's best-selling plug-in electric car. Where global sales from early to March 2020 reached 525,000 units.

Even one week before its launch, Tesla mentioned that the Model 3 had more than 325,000 reservations. More than triple the Model S sedan sold at the end of 2015. Beating the 1955 Citroën DS record which had 80,000 reservations during the ten-day Paris Auto Show.
