While scrolling through FB, I accidentally found a photo uploaded by the Kagamine Len page. So I thought about uploading it here.

Well, I have to finish the proposal, but for some reason, I'm not in the mood (something sad and worse than expected). If I'm playing, I'm just in the mood~ The escape even wants to update the blog.

These facts are succinct, next time if I'm a little unemployed, at least I want to make Kagamine info myself. Honestly, ever since the Vocaloid euphoria started to disappear, I have never browsed Vocaloid info anymore:" Even Rin Len's songs started to suck.

Oh, because I got it from Len's fans page, maybe some of the facts are a bit leaning towards his Len.

1st fact

Five of Kagamine Rin & Len's popular songs on Youtube are Holy Lance Explosion Boy (what?), Childish War, Embarrassment-Hiding Adolescence, Electric Angel & World Domination How-to.

note: I added "Rin" in the sentence above because the songs are also sung by Rin.

2nd fact

Although many people claim Kagamine wouldn't exist without Miku, the truth is that Rin and Len were designed before Miku's release, based on Wataru Sasaki and Asami Shimoda.

Wow, I just realized that as far as I know, Rin and Len (27 Dec 2007) were created to pursue popularity because of Miku's success (31 Aug 2007). Rin & Len's software development was very short, that's why ACT 1 is considered not of good quality. ACT 2 was made on July 18, 2008.

But the facts in the photo make more sense. The period from the release of Miku to the release of Rin Len is only less than 4 months, you know.

3rd fact

The Vocaloid playlist that you can find on Youtube is the Kagamine playlist. Currently, there are more than 1600 songs.

4th fact

Although Rin is more popular than Len in Japan, Len is more popular than Rin in Western countries.

5th fact

The names Kagamine Rin and Len are based on the characters Ken and Rin from the 1983 manga Hokuto no Ken.

6th fact

The Keytar Len that is often held in merchandise is the Yamaha KX5.

7th fact

Kagamine Len is the first male Vocaloid in Vocaloid 2.

I'm sure you already know :p Where male Vocaloids are very, very rare, they said that they prefer female Vocaloids, so that they can attract the market this time.

8th fact

Kagamine Rin and Len have no official relationship. However, Wataru Sasaki, (developer of Rin & Len) likes to imagine them as twins.

This is why in the debate that Rin & Len are twins or a couple, their songs are mixed, some are about love and some are about them as twins. Because Crypton himself did not describe their relationship. They're the same surname, so I think they're twins too.

9th fact

Asami Shimoda (voiced by Rin and Len) mentioned that Len's voice was made with his love, as Asami sings Len's vocals in a chest voice. (technique, huh?)

10th fact

Rin and Len's surname Kagamine can be translated as "The sound of the mirror".

We know that Kagami=mirror and ne=sound

11th fact

Originally, only Kagamine Rin was planned for release. After many fan requests to make a male Vocaloid, Crypton announced Len on December 3, 2007.

12th Fact

Kagamine Rin and Len boot design (ACT 1/ACT 2), using Yamaha EOS as the base design.

It's not strange that the Vocaloid character designs are taken from Yamaha musical instruments. Especially KEI's Vocaloid design, not only Rin Len but Miku's design is also taken from Yamaha musical instruments,

Bonus

Well, I got these facts myself from various sources. Can be corrected if there are mistakes.

13th Fact

Asami Shimoda likes to take photos of cosplayers Rin and Len and upload them to his blog. And Asami never told the cosplayer who she was.

14th Fact

The song Orange by Kagamine Len was composed by ShounenT. Orange is the producer's favorite color.

15th Fact

The scientist in Kokoro's song (sung by Kagamine Rin) is not Len, but Gakupo Kamui.
