1. Sasori means scorpion

The meaning of the name Sasori is actually quite simple.

In Japanese, the name Sasori or the meaning of the Sasori language is a scorpion.

Sasori did use the scorpion symbol as a sign of his Kugutsu.

2. Sasori's exact age is unknown

In Naruto Shippuden, it is explained that he is 35 years old.

However, the actual age of Sasori is unknown.

He changed his body into a Kugutsu at the age of 35 and will not age because he has no physical body.

Therefore Sasori's real age is older than 35 years, but it is not known for sure.

3. Hiruko is an important Kugutsu to him

If the Third Kazekage's Kugutsu is probably the most special and his Kugutsu body is the strongest, then which one is the most important of his hundreds of Kugutsu??

The most important Kugutsu for Sasori was Hiruko.

Hiruko is a Kugutsu that he made as a weapon as well as protective armor which some people know Sasori better in Hiruko's figure.

4. Sasori and all of his Akatsuki partners have killed the Kazekage

Sasori had two partners throughout his career in Akatsuki.

The first is Orochimaru and the second is Deidara. Now uniquely, Sasori and his two partners had both killed the Kazekage.

Sasori killed the Third Kazekage, Orochimaru killed the Fourth Kazekage (Rasa), and Deidara killed the Fifth Kazekage (Gaara) despite Gaara being revived.

5. Idols Monzaemon Chikamatsu

Who is Monzaemon Chikamatsu?

His figure in Naruto is never shown, but he is the creator of the Kugutsu technique and one of the strongest Kugutsu makers and users.

Sasori idolized him as a Kugutsu maker and fighter, even in the databook he wished he could fight Monzaemon Chikamatsu.

6. Earned his nickname in the Third Ninja World War

When the Third Ninja World War broke out, Sasori was already active as a ninja from Suna.

He was in the army of Kugutsu users from Suna when the war broke out.

Now he is very feared because his shrewdness in using Kugutsu makes many ninja from other villages die and spill their blood on the sand.

Because of that Sasori earned the nickname "Red Sand" which came from the blood of his opponent.

7. The best Kugutsu makers and users of the Naruto era

Before Sasori, the best Kugutsu maker and user was his grandmother, Chiyo.

However, without Chiyo realizing it, Sasori had already surpassed him in terms of making Kugutsu which even changed his total body apart from the heart into Kugutsu.

Not only that, Kugutsu users are considered strong based on the number of Kugutsu controlled at once. Chiyo can use a maximum of 10, while Sasori can go up to a hundred.

In his prime, Chiyo was only "comparable" to the Third Kazekage while Sasori could kill the Kazekage.

This means that Sasori is the best Kugutsu maker and user of the Naruto era. In Boruto, you can say that the best user is Kankuro.
