The name Digimon is not something foreign to gamers, especially anime fans. The success of the anime in the late '90s to early 2000's made the Digimon franchise penetrate the game world and the early generation of the game was placed on the PlayStation 1 console.

Those who are in their 20s and over today will understand this. Interestingly, it turns out that there are several Digimon games on PS1 that we never knew about because they were only released in Japan. The following is a list of Digimon games released on PS1.

1. Digimon World

Digimon began to enter the realm of the game through this title. With his style that resembles a Tamagotchi pet, Digimon World has successfully captured the attention of many gamers. This game is also the first step in this game franchise.

2. Pocket Digimon World

Only released in Japan and requires a device called PocketStation. This game is related to Digimon World 2. It says you can transfer Digimon from Pocket Digimon World to Digimon World 2.

3. Digimon World 2

Bandai made new gameplay in Digimon World 2 which is a dungeon-crawling RPG style with a turning battle system. You can also catch various Digimon here.

4. Pocket Digimon World: Cool & Nature Battle Disc

Not much different from Pocket Digimon World. The difference is that you can get different Digimon depending on the series you get. The cool version will get water and ice Digimon, the nature version will get insects and plant Digimon.

5. Pocket Digimon World: Wind Battle Disc

Here the focused Digimon are Patamon and Tailmon with evolution between holy beasts and angels. Some evolutions are devil-type.

6. Digimon World 3

Being the last Digimon game for the PS1 console, Digimon World 3 is an interesting RPG with a deep story. You can spend hours on this one game.

7. Digimon Battle Arena

Fighting game Digimon for PS1. Set against the backdrop of the third generation of Digimon, Digimon Tamers, Digimon Battle Arena introduces you to Guilmon, Renamon, and Terriermon and their evolution.

8. Digimon Digital Card Battle

A card game-style Digimon spin-off. This game is recognized by various sources as one of the best Digimon games with a large collection of cards and various Digimon. But some consider it a failed Digimon game.

9. Digimon Park

Game exclusive in Japan. Digimon Park contains many mini-games which unfortunately are in Japanese.
