Uma Musume: Pretty Derby (ウマ娘 Uma Musume Puritī Dābī, literally: Horse Girl Race) is a media franchise about the personification of Japanese racehorses created by studio Cygames. The subject of this franchise is Uma Musume (horse girl), a horse with a form that resembles a teenage girl and has the ability to run very fast. Since the promotional video for the Uma Musume project was released to the public at AnimeJapan 2016, the franchise has released a comic (manga) series, an animated series, and a web animation. The mobile game for iOS and Android was also scheduled to come out in 2018, but its release was postponed to 2019 indefinitely.
