Kimetsu no Yaiba: Entertainment District introduces one of the toughest hashira or Pillars, namely Tengen Uzui and his three wives: Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru.

The appearance of Tengen and his 3 wives had invited controversy from several people who opposed the practice of polygamy. However, Tengen's actions in this anime are contrary to what most people think about polygamy.

So how does Tengen treat his wife? We can find out by knowing the figures of Makio, Suma, Hiantsuru, and of course Tengen himself.

Getting to know the 3 wives of Tengen Uzui

1. Tengen's Relationship with Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru

There is no mention of how Tengen's three wives first met him. When they and Tengen were introduced, their status was married and had a married life.

But one thing that should be known, Tengen's three wives are a kunoichi or female ninja. They also have the same task as Tengen, which is to hunt down demons. Both Tengen and his three wives take care of each other and immediately lend a helping hand if one of them gets into trouble.

Tengen's three wives have characters that are similar to some of the characters of Kimetsu no Yaiba. Makio is similar to Inosuke, Suma is similar to Zenitsu, and Hinatsuru is similar to Tanjiro.

2. Tengen treats all his wives fairly

In marriage, Tengen tries to be as fair as possible to Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru. Even though Tengen always tries to ensure their safety, Tengen advises the three to put their safety and that of others first before worrying about him.

In the Entertainment District arc, Tengen always corresponds with his wives by letter. When their letter never arrived, Tengen was furious and immediately saved them. He didn't even hesitate to kill Inosuke when he theorized that his wives might be dead.

As Tengen slowly saves Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru, we can see how Tengen cares about them, nothing less and nothing more than one another. They become an important part of Tengen's life until the last fight.
