1. Development
Luffy learned the Gear Fourth technique while undergoing 2 years of training on Ruskaina, an island with 48 seasons. The many beasts that inhabit the island force Luffy to use Gear Fourth to surpass them. This technique is also proven to be able to frighten and subdue the beasts.

4. Luffy's height
