Pokemon Papercraft: Tatsugiri (Sharitatsu)

Tatsugiri are Pokémon that look like small fish. They may appear to be resting on a bed of "rice" at times and resemble sushi.

Tatsugiri can adapt to their surroundings in three different ways. They are highly intelligent Pokémon who collaborate with the less intelligent but more powerful Dondozo to hunt food, preferring bird Pokémon. Tatsugiri is treated like a boss by Dondozo, who follows them around loyally in exchange for food, which Tatsugiri plans to hunt for. Tatsugiri can normally move around on their own, but they prefer to live inside Dondozo's mouth to avoid enemies.


Tatsugiri have the ability Commander; when paired with a Dondozo, the Tatsugiri will leap into the Dondozo's mouth, increasing its combat proficiency significantly. However, this prevents it from participating in battle until the host Dondozo is defeated. Tatsugiri also have Storm Drain, which protects them from Water-type attacks and increases their Special Attack if they are hit by one.
